Sharon Nekesa Waswa

Sharon Nekesa Waswa is a results-driven operations and program leader with over four years of experience in administration and program execution. As Operations Manager at Angaza Center, she provides strategic oversight of operations, program implementation, and cross-school coordination to ensure sustainable and measurable impact in digital literacy education.
Since joining Angaza Center in February 2024, Sharon has played a key role in strengthening institutional systems and scaling program delivery. As Program Coordinator, she successfully led the implementation of peer-to-peer (P2P) technology literacy sessions across multiple partner schools, ensuring consistent trainer deployment, minimizing absenteeism, and addressing operational challenges such as power outages and internet disruptions. Her coordination efforts increased school participation rates and improved program continuity across diverse regions.
Sharon has also contributed to onboarding new partner schools into the P2P program, expanding Angaza Center’s reach and strengthening relationships with school leadership and stakeholders. Her work in streamlining communication, improving reporting structures, and enhancing operational workflows has contributed to improved efficiency and stronger accountability within the organization.
Now serving as Operations Manager, she focuses on performance tracking, operational excellence, team coordination, and long-term growth strategies that align with Angaza Center’s mission to expand access to quality digital education.
