Angaza Center Partnership

Laisamis Secondary School reached a significant milestone through the launch of the Essential Digital Literacy (EDL) Program under the Angaza Center network. The initiative focused on strengthening teachers’ digital confidence and improving classroom technology integration.

The school received fully functional laptops to support digital learning, while over 10 teachers were trained and certified in digital literacy skills. This training equipped educators with practical tools to enhance lesson delivery, improve student engagement, and support competency-based learning approaches.

The launch brought together TSC representatives, Board of Management members, school leadership, local administration officials, and community stakeholders, reinforcing shared ownership and long-term sustainability of digital education initiatives in Marsabit County.
