Samuel (Sammy) Entin is a current undergraduate student in the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering. He plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. His skills include being an analytical thinker, great teamwork, leadership, and strong public speaking skills.
Sammy’s association with the Angaza Center commenced in late 2022 when he took on the role of a student teacher at Miruriiri Girls’ Secondary School, a foundational institution in the Angaza program. Through this experience, he found immense satisfaction in forming connections with students and empowering them with valuable life skills, thus contributing to the core mission of the Angaza Center.
Prior to his university journey, Sammy graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, and served in leadership roles in Student Council and the National Honor Society. His commitment to leadership and community involvement, along with his desire to make a positive impact, have naturally extended into his role as a student ambassador.
