🌟 ANGAZA UPDATES – September Newsletter 🌟
We are delighted to share exciting updates and heartwarming stories from our member schools, highlighting the impactful work of the Angaza Center in promoting digital literacy and educational development.
🌟Top News🌟 We’re thrilled about the Angaza Center Peer-to-Peer Program! 🎉 It’s been a fun-filled journey so far, and we’re excited to kick off the collaboration between God Agulu Secondary School from Rachuonyo South, Homabay County, and North Creek High from Bothell, Washington. Through this program, students from our partner and member schools worldwide connect, interact, and share their skills, all in an effort to bridge the digital divide in our communities.
A big thank you to the students and schools for their dedication and hard work in making this initiative a reality. 🎉
🚀 SUCCESS AT BUTE GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL:
We’re excited to announce the successful completion of our teacher training program at BUTE GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL in Bute, Wajir County. The Angaza Center‘s ‘Train the Trainer’ initiative is an intensive digital literacy course designed to equip educators with the tech skills needed to integrate information technology into their teaching practices, making lessons more engaging and interactive.
Bute Girls Secondary School, a public boarding school for girls, is partnering with the Angaza Center to launch a state-of-the-art digital learning resource center. This facility, fully equipped with computing devices, internet connectivity, and remote learning capabilities, will provide students and the broader Bute community with access to modern ICT tools for academic, social, and economic development.
We extend our special gratitude to SENIOR CHIEF ADANO GIRLS for organizing a remote session where students demonstrated to their peers how they use their ICT resource center to enhance their learning in Drama, Science, Journalism, and Sports. 🙏
