In partnership with Angaza Center, your school is excited to offer the Transformative Impact Program
(TIP); an innovative opportunity for high school students to join efforts to bridge the digital divide in rural
African communities, gain leadership experience, and become global citizens.
Why TIP?
TIP empowers you to:
- Develop Digital Literacy & Leadership: Conduct digital instruction to peers and rural African high schools, and take on leadership roles that will enhance your academic, career, and social prospects.
- Engage in Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Build lasting connections with peers in rural African high schools and experience cultural exchange that broadens your global perspective.
- Earn Quality Service Hours: Participate in meaningful projects that not only empower communities but also bolster your college applications, and become eligible for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).
- Make a Lasting Impact: Contribute to initiatives like device donations, peer-to-peer training, fundraising events, and more, and help to transform the educational landscape for rural African students.

Key Dates:
- Application Period: Now through April 10th
- Interviews & Notifications: Interviews will be completed and selected students notified by mid-May
- Internship Start: The internship begins in the first week of June
